Haiti COVID-19 Relief –Missionary Jean Robert St. Hillaire in Port Au Prince, Haiti reports that they are facing a severe food shortage due to the political unrest that has been going on there for months and now due to the COVID-19 crisis. The Dominican Republic is a primary supplier of food to Haiti but has closed its borders to Haiti due to COVID-19. Therefore, we are initiating an urgent fundraising effort with a goal of raising $20,000 for the purchase of food and supplies for the church in south Haiti. We have a secure method for sending funds to Jean Robert. He is a trustworthy brother who can use these funds to provide food for our brothers and sisters in Christ in Haiti. He has recently been able to use a $1200 donation to feed 38 Christians in the congregation there. However, there are currently identified at least 350 Christians in the area that are in need of support in this difficult time. Any amount you can give will be of great use for your brothers and sisters there and bring glory to God. Donations can be made to Northeast church of Christ, Attn. Frank Graves with a memo to “Haiti COVID-19 Relief”. The address is 2217 Beechnut Drive, Kingsport, TN, 37660. Northeast church of Christ will send the funds you donate in their entirety to Jean Robert for distribution.
