Each January we have a canned food drive to help provide food for local food distribution centers for those who need access to food.
Blessing Bags
There are people all around the community that need a little bit of help. One of the ways we want to reach community members is through Blessing Bags. Blessing Bags happen about twice a year. They are filled with items such as socks, toiletries, toothbrushes, toothpastes, and things of that nature. We will often throw in a seasonal need as well.
Blessing Bags are given to the congregation and then the congregation gives those bags to people who they see need them while they are out in the community.
If you would like to donate to this cause we are always looking for socks, deodorant, feminine products, travel sized toothpaste and tooth brushes, combs, hair brushes, gloves, Bandaids, Kleenex, and small nail clippers. Thank you in advance!
