Adult Bible Classes

September 5th - November 28th

Sunday Morning – 9:00 a.m.

“Judges” & “Samuel”

 We will be finishing our study of the book of Judges and studying the life of Samuel.  Samuel is considered to have been the last of the Major Judges and serves as the man in the middle of the transition from the Judges to the Kings.  We will study lessons from his interesting life of service to God.

 “New Life In Christ”

2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, she is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come.”  Do the life stories of Abraham, Moses, Peter and Paul have anything to do with how I deal with my life struggles? This class will show they can!!!  This class arises in response to asking individual ladies how the Northeast body can be more supportive and empowering to them.  Our class goal is to grow closer in a family spirit of unity and to deepen our daily walk with God.  This study will impact the way you view yourself and the way you live your life.  Our focus and direction will rest on a platform of Prayer and Bible Character studies.  Join us as we seek renewing transformation by God!   This class is for ladies only.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT – 7:00 P.M.

September 8th - December 1st

 “I & II Corinthians”

This in-depth class is an extension of the class held during the summer quarter due to the extensive amount of information and the important materials within these two influential books of the New Testament.  The class will follow a “verse-by-verse” Bible study approach.  With Paul’s audience facing many of the same challenges the Church of today wrestles with, this promises to be an invaluable study.

 “Philippians”

This class will delve into Paul’s letter to a church he dearly loved.  We’ll gain insights not only into the heart of the great apostle, but we’ll also gain insight into a great church which we would do well to imitate.  You are encouraged to bring your Bible and a spiral notebook if you’re inclined to take notes.
